Topics: Retouching techniques for portrait and beauty images using both Photoshop and Lightroom.

PREREQUISITE: A laptop with Photoshop (version 4 or newer) and Lightroom (version 3 or 4) installed will be needed for this class as well as a few RAW or jpg files ready to be retouched.

Topics: Classic studio lighting, light shaping tools, metering, working with a white backdrop, using natural light on
location, posing ideas, working with a creative team and more.

 

PREREQUISITE: Students must be proficient with a DSLR in full manual mode to take this class. The curriculum is designed for photographers who want to learn how to do studio lighting and how to better use natural light with a focus on portraits.

Advanced Portrait and Fashion Lighting $299.00

Topics: Advanced studio lighting techniques, specular light sources, mixing strobes with natural light, lighting on location,
visual storytelling, creative backgrounds and more.

 

PREREQUISITE: Students must have either taken the introductory class or pass a short questionnaire to be eligible for this class as all topics covered are for non-beginners. The curriculum for this class is designed for photographers who want to take their studio lighting to the next level as well as learn how to mix strobe lighting with natural light.
